Are you looking for a shorter option for paddling? This is a casual paddle up the majestic Rio Baru in Dominical, shorter paddle than our other tours on Kayak or Stand Up Paddle Board. We launch from the river mouth and head up river for about 2 kilometers. There is a surprising amount of wildlife that hangs out around this river and our adorable town and you will feel refreshed as you paddle back down the river to where it kisses the sea.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a kayak or paddle board tour… you will get wet. Max weight for this tour is 250 lbs (113 kilos).
CHANCE TO SEE: Up to 30 species of Tropical Birds (Herons, Hawks, Ospreys, Falcons, Kingfishers, etc), Crabs, Monkeys, Sloths, Raccoons, Iguanas, Basilisk (“Jesus Christ Lizards”), Crocodiles (YES, there are crocs), Snakes, etc, etc, etc......!!!!!!!
WHAT TO BRING: Hat, Bathing Suit, Water shoes for the Rocks, straps for Rx Glasses, Sunscreen, Binoculars, Camera, Towel for After.
