The Whale's Tail Rock Reef

Many people thing the reef at the Whale’s Tail doesn’t have much to offer. While it isn’t the prettiest reef, with mostly rocks and brain coral, there is actually a lot of life underwater there. We paddle to the southern part of the Whale’s Tail formation at pure low tide, allowing us the best views to search for tropical fish and creatures. We have seen octopus, turtles, eels, lobsters, conches, starfish, sting rays, and all sorts of fun tropical fish. And the views from above the water are spectacular.
